Sunshine & Stories (and Lulu Jr.!)

Warmer weather is here and that means it’s time to get off the couch and head into the great outdoors! This past weekend, Lulu Jr. did just that at our local Macaroni Kid Sunshine & Stories Literary Festival in Raleigh!

Sunshine & Stories is just one of the wonderful activities that Macaroni Kid North Raleigh hosts!

Princess read-aloud and sing-along during Sunshine & Stories!

The event was filled with fun activities for the kids including princess story-time, dance demonstrations, author readings and more! It was inspiring to meet families with budding young artists and to see the local community come together to support creativity and imagination.

Macaroni Kid was founded with two specific goals in mind: to enrich communities and empower moms. They do this by connecting local libraries, schools, rec centers and community centers and providing a home base where family fun events and activities can be shared.

Macaroni Kid publishes weekly, hyper-local e-newsletters and websites featuring events, activities, products and places for moms, kids and families. They also host local events and parties to connect with the community. Each community is managed by a local Publisher Mom or Dad. They are the go-to parents in their communities and connect both online and off.

You can learn more about the North Raleigh NC chapter on their Facebook page.

Thank you to Macaroni Kid for inviting us to participate in this awesome event!
